What's happening in our parish
Adult Faith Formation:
Advent and Lent Scripture Study: Members gather on three Wednesdays at 6:00 pm during the season of Advent and Lent. Each session will concentrate on the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday. During Lent, Scripture Study will be followed by Stations of the Cross at 7:00 am.

Advent and Lenten Faith Formation Meetings for Parents: Led by Fr. Peter downstairs in the Parish Hall on a Sunday from 10:15 - 11:00 am during the season of Advent and Lent.
This program is an opportunity for parents/adults to develop and deepen their faith with other parents/adults. Parents of students receiving sacraments this year are encouraged to attend.

Faith-to-Faith Book Discussion Club:
This informal group gathers at 7 pmon the second Monday of the month to discuss books with a variety of spiritual content, ranging from women of the Old Testament to Mother Teresa and subjects in between. Members decide what book to read for the following month. Members will discuss "The Song of Bernadette" by Franz Werfel at their meeting on Monday, June 12. Everyone is welcome.
Ongoing and Special Events:
Our Lady of the Isle Tag Sale will take place on Saturday, June 3, starting at 8:30 am at the American Legion. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit our church. Donations are gratefully accepted (excluding clothing and books). Furniture and all other items may also be dropped off at the Legion beginning Wednesday, May 31. Contact Shirley Ferrer to arrange a pick up or drop off.
Fellowship: Join us downstairs at the Parish Hall on the first Sunday of each month, following the 9:30 am Mass. Meet and greet fellow parishioners and enjoy refreshments.
Sunday movies: Faith-based movies will be shown on the last Sunday of the month after 9:30 am Mass in the Parish Hall. Refreshments will be served.
Non-Eucharistic visits: We are happy to visit you if you’re homebound or would like a social visit. Call Angela Corbett or the Parish Office at 631-749-0001 to arrange a visit.
Ladies Guild at Cormaria in Sag Harbor: Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month for dinner from October to June for an evening of quiet solitude to explore their experience of God in their lives. The evening begins with dinner and is followed by a prayer service and time for reflection. Reservations are required at least three days in advance. Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction: Enjoy peaceful contemplation with our Lord in the church on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 pm. Stay as long as you like. Benediction takes place at 3:55 pm.
RCIA -Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults: Baptism, First Confession, First Holy Communion, Confirmation. To discuss and invite people who might be interested to complete their Christian Initiation with the Sacrament of Confirmation.
