What's happening in our parish
Lent Scripture Study: Led by Mary-Faith Westervelt, Lenten Scripture Study begins on Wednesday, March 13 at 6 pm, followed by Stations of the Cross and Confession at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend! This year’s theme is: Jesus’ Gift: The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation. The following topics will be discussed:
March 13: The Nature of Sin
March 20: Conversion Through God's Forgiveness and Reconciliation With The Church
March 27: Elements of the Sacrament: Conversion of the Person through Action of the Holy Spirit
Faith-to-Faith Book Discussion Club: This informal group gathers at 6 pm on the second Tuesday of the month to discuss books with a variety of spiritual content. Members decide what book to read for the following month.
Fellowship: Join us downstairs at the Parish Hall on the first Sunday of each month, following the 9:30 am Mass. Meet and greet fellow parishioners and enjoy refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
Non-Eucharistic visits: We are happy to visit you if you’re homebound or would like a social visit. Call Angela Corbett or the Parish Office at 749-0001 to arrange a visit.
Ladies Guild at Cormaria in Sag Harbor: Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month, for an evening of quiet solitude to explore their experience of God in their lives. The evening begins with dinner and is followed by a prayer service and time for reflection. Reservations are required at least a week in advance. There will be no meeting in March. Details about a possible April meeting to come.
Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction: Enjoy peaceful contemplation with our Lord in the church on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 pm. Stay as long as you like. Benediction takes place at 3:55 pm.
RCIA -Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults: Baptism, First Confession, First Holy Communion, Confirmation. To discuss and invite people who might be interested to complete their Christian Initiation with the Sacrament of Confirmation.
